Guliani Exposed As Bush Parrot And Complete Liar

If any of you watched Hannity-Colmes yesterday, you saw Rudy parroting the RNC talking points. He is supposed to be some kind of security expert, top cop or whatever, but Rudy endorsed the Iraq War as "going on the offensive against terrorists" (even though there were no terrorists in Iraq until after we invaded and Bush invited them in), he neglected to remember the 9-11 Commission gave Bushies D's and F's on Homeland Security, and he neglected to see the obvious, that Bush has made Iran, North Korea, Hezbollah, Al Qaida, Mullahs all over not to mention gas gougers more powerful than they were before 9-11. Rudy also seems blind to the fact Iraqi is exploding into an out-of-control civil war and our entire military is mired there.

Moonbat rightwing extremist wannabe fascists are the real problem today. On every front. From Iraq to energy to health care to corruption to debt spending -- you name it. The rightwing must simply stop lying and making neo-fascist comics like Anne Coulter their top spokespeople. They have to dump everything Coulter, Delay and Abramoff stand for. They are now proven wrong and crooked about almost everything.

Bush Changes "Fascist" Line to "Extremist Bunch Of Folks", after infuriating Muslims and others around the world
washingtonpost.com

Rove made a big boo-boo. He saw millions of people calling Bushies "fascists" (some of them are fascistic, including Rove, Cheney and Anne Coulter types) and he decided to inaccurately use that word weapon against the "enemy". Unfortunately, it was very counter-productive and stirred up yet another hornet's nest of anti-Americanism.

Bush needs to admit he was wrong and needs to start doing what his father did so well, diplomacy.

BTW: Fascist in the dictionary is defined as an extreme nationalist. Terrorists know no nation. Rather they are religious fanatics. Like many of Bush's followers.

Under Bush-Cheney, Iraq now has to import oil

indystar.com

Plus, Cheney's people control the Iraqi oilfields, but up to 30% of Iraqi oil is now being stolen before it can reach market. So who is stealing it? Why aren't Bushies concerned and investigating? They ranted and raved about much smaller corruption with the Un For Food program, now we have much bigger more outrageous corruption. In fact over 10 billion bucks of our money is MISSING in Iraq. Just gone. And no investigations by the GOP. WHy not?

Lieberman parrots "world War III" Lie of far right.
electioncentral.tpmcafe.com

Like hell it's World War III. It's only going to be World War III if paranoid chickenhawks like Cheney and Liberman are running our military invading countries which never attacked us and thinking they can change Allah into Jesus.

Republican Iraq Vet Slams Bush For "Fascist" Charges

Ron Brynaert
Published: Thursday August 31, 2006

The Republican advisor to a political action committee founded by veterans is blasting the Bush Administration for using "fascist" language in some recent speeches and interviews, and for its "unwillingness to devise a victory plan" to end the war in Iraq.

"I am a proud Republican, who ran for my party's nomination for Congress in Indiana, because I believe in traditional values," said Sam Schultz, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan with the Indiana Army National Guard and acts as the

Republican Senior Advisor to VoteVets.org, in a press release received by RAW STORY.

"I also believe we need to be vigilant in defending America," Schultz continued. "That is why I feel I must speak out about the Administration's recent contention that the war in Iraq is part of the fight against 'Islamic fascism.'"

Yesterday, the Associated Press reported that fascism "seems to be the new buzz word for Republicans in an election season dominated by an unpopular war in Iraq."

"Bush used the term earlier this month in talking about the arrest of suspected terrorists in Britain, and spoke of 'Islamic fascists' in a later speech in Green Bay, Wis," the AP reported. "Spokesman Tony Snow has used variations on the phrase at White House press briefings."

Schultz explained why he thinks "fascism" is an inappropriate word for the Bush Administration to use.

"First, we are not fighting an enemy that fits the definition of fascist, nor does Iraq resemble anything close to Hitler's Germany or Mussolini's Italy," Schultz said. "Second,I do not believe the war in Iraq has furthered our battle against radical Islamism."

"I can attest to the fact that after my time in Iraq, when I served in Afghanistan, we did not have enough people on the ground there to secure the border with Pakistan, and as a result, many terrorists slipped through our grasp, most likely including Osama bin Laden," Schultz added.

Schultz lost to incumbent Republican U.S. Rep. Mike Sodrel in the GOP primary race for Indiana's 9th district this past May.

Bushies are the only ones acting like Fascists. Remember, they stole both elections, are trying to rip up the Constitution to allow the president to do anything he wants during "permanent war-time" (that's a dictator not a presdient) and he constantly scape-goats and rants for war using propaganda and nationalistic myths instead of facts.

Bush Needs to Stop Its "Fascist" Talk And Get Realistic

Friday, September 01, 2006

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

There are at least three pieces of falsely based rhetoric that are beginning to emerge in the fall political campaign that need to be put into context now, early in the game.

All three are being put forward by senior U.S. government officials or Republican candidates, notably Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and Pennsylvania's own nonresident peddler of nontruths, Sen. Rick Santorum.

The first of these is that any American who does not believe that the United States should stay in Iraq, to pursue President Bush's vanity war to the end and continue to lose young fighting Americans as well as burn up formidable amounts of cash, is somehow not only wrongheaded but also a traitor who does not really love freedom.

This is a scurrilous lie, insulting and a disgusting slur on good Americans -- Democrats, Republicans or independents -- who believe that it is time the nation found a way to bring an end to a war that is now more than 3 years old.

A second, very misleading, line that, notably, Republican Senate candidate Santorum is using, most recently at a talk in Harrisburg on Monday, is that America's current war is against "Islamic fascism." This concept is inaccurate and unhelpful to the United States in both of its words. Anyone with half a brain can see that Islam is by no means unified or unanimous in its support of al-Qaida, terrorism or even Hezbollah and Hamas. Think of the leaders of Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. Or think of Indonesia, Bangladesh and Malaysia, majority Islamic countries that have offered troops to the United Nations to stand between Hezbollah and the Israeli Defense Forces in defending the integrity of southern Lebanon.

In addition, what is going on in the Middle East does not meet the definition of fascism. Fascism is a political philosophy, albeit a scrofulous one, and is generally a national phenomenon, not cross-national and religious in its scope.

Mr. Santorum has given no previous indication of any knowledge of foreign affairs, but waving around the words "Islamic fascism" may take the cake.

The third falsely based line that some Republicans are throwing around is an effort to draw a link between the situation in Europe in the 1930s -- Hitler, British Prime Minister A. Neville Chamberlain's 1938 Munich deal, the Holocaust carried out by Germany and other nations against the Jews of Europe -- and some Americans' advocacy of a U.S. withdrawal from Iraq. The two situations have nothing whatsoever in common -- even the fact that Mr. Chamberlain saw himself as trying to preserve peace in Europe, whereas the Bush administration is trying to find a way to say it's been successful in Iraq despite the fact that none of its stated invasion objectives (apart from the overthrow of Saddam Hussein) have been achieved.

What would be most useful for America at this point is that its 2006 electoral campaign be waged on the basis of truths -- about its economic situation, of primary importance, as well as the current position of the United States in Iraq and the rest of the Middle East. Feeding lies into the system -- with claims that advocacy of withdrawal is disloyalty, "Islamic fascism" is the problem or the situation in the Middle East is like that in 1930s Europe -- is stupid and counterproductive to useful debate among competing candidates. It needs to stop now before it goes any further.

Can we now admit we were better off with Saddam in power?
Believe it or not it's really true. Think about the facts. Saddam, held that crazy country together and hated Islamic fundamentalist Al Qaida types. He knew how to find them and kill them too. Or he'd torture them. Like we do. Only we're too nice to throw them into mass graves where they belong. right? He also waged war against Iran which we can't do because it would be much too costly and messy. So where is Saddam when we need him? Right in our hands.

Iraq is a complete disaster for the USA. And it's going to cost us abother 20,000 casualties and a trillion+ bucks in debt to communist China if we don't get out. Bush is wrong too, what could be worse than the way it is now? Terrorists aren't going to take over, the crazy Iraqis are just going to keep killing each other. What terrorists would want to get in the middle of that? And Bush lied again today, no way democrats want to not guard the Iraqi oilfields from these nuts. That would be like letting Bushies count ballots without being watched. Democrats are not stupid, nor are we wimps. Until we get rid of Bushies and get off oil (15 year project) we need oil. We're actually a lot smarter than Bushies and a lot more sane. Bushies have created this mess. Now they need some adult supervision. And Saddam? He might just be useful as the next president of Iraq. He has real experience.

Sully, I'm calling you out as a slimey liar. You keep writing posts claiming that Kerry insulted our troops. Unless you're an idiot with an IQ matching your shoe size, you know damned well that isn't true. Not at all. Not even 1% true. It's categorically false. So are you that stupid or that dishonest? Which one?

Of course the obvious truth is that Kerry botched a joke, which the rightwing dishonestly jumped on to try and change the subject from their bungling of the Iraq War. Kerry apologized yewt the rightwing refuses to accept this, even though Bush consistently makes much worse gaffes and Cheney's apology for shooting the guy in the face while drinking was accepted by democrats.

Which is worse, botching a joke or shooting a guy in the face while drinking? Whyich is worse, botching a joke or botching a war? And if Bush-Cheney have the support of the military, why is the Military Times calling for Rumsfeld to be fired?
