The people would rather have a democrat that does not support Bush and kiss his butt. I don't know where you live but the anger towards bush is very palpable. The concern over the war in Iraq is significant. Lieberman's behavior has tapped into that anger negatively. He will learn to stop being such a nebbish and a good little boy.

Its best you stop looking at his whole thing a game. That may have been true in years past but its not true now. People have very strong feelings about a lot of issues.
