I don't know. We are still on a sell, which seems to point to
a re-test of October 2005 lows for the SP500 (1168) before a sustainable
bounce. This may change if we go up further, though -g-.
The Fed's games appear
not to have as much of an effect on the markets lately. Yes,
there are huge futures Fed-induced rallies, but overall
the market seems to swallow them up and move lower.
I'm not impressed by them. NAS is plain
ugly. The breadth of this market sucks - AD line for SP
broke all time lows made in 2002. So, the futures ramps seem
to only have an effect on indices, while the broader market
continues lower, then drags the indices lower as well.
There is a quiet RealMan out there in these markets.
I know he is on his way, probably will make it to lower
Manhatten by mid-October. He stops at pubs occasionally.
That slows him down. A very relaxed dude. -ggg-
