Maybe for doing this we can extract some type of treaty wherein some outside force assists the Lebanese Army in controlling Hezbollah. jdn

Read several news reports of Lebanese army types saying they will not fight against Hezbollah. Suggests to me that Hezbollah has already infiltrated the military.

This is something the UN should have dealt with a long time ago.
