Take the bullets out of the gun. The market is rallying now.
As an aside i received a promotion from the Prudential Speculation newsletter. In the ad, they talked about how investing in growth stocks regularly fails because they are mostly overvalued. They go back to 1970 something and track investments in HP and a medium and great western financial bank. I think the return was 5X better on the bank. Then they compared china and brazil market investments over time. Brazil was way better than china because china sells at higher valuation. I am hoping our stocks now fall in the value category. Whether they will ever be price as growth again is debatable. Take a stock like amat at 14. A double takes us to 28. Maybe no more irrational exhuberance in tech and at some point we need to get out and stay out and perhaps buy some silly local bank.
