Wow, I think some of the atheists on this thread might beg to differ.

To be fair, I'll also point out this part of the article as well.

"Democracy demands that the religiously motivated translate their concerns into universal, rather than religion-specific, values. It requires that their proposals be subject to argument, and amenable to reason."

Often faith is confused with the antithesis of this argument. I've never believed in a blind faith. Faith should always be tested.
