If peace will be had it takes constant pressure to ceasefire and sit down for talks. Peace will never happen otherwise, as has been proven by the failure of force to bring peace.

Peace talks would need to address the underlying issues of both sides. No one has ever dug that deep, because the peace talks here to for have been half hearted followed by failure to uphold agreements. Until both sides sit down and hammer our real solutions war will continue.

It will take real leadership to make this happen. Unfortunately we have Bush who says...Israel go ahead and do what you're going to do. I'll give you a week, then we'll talk about it some more...

That type of stance will never achieve peace...never.
