There are tyrants all over the world. Why go after Saddam? The US has often been friends of tyrants. Saddam ran a secular government and had the brutality against radical Muslims that you seem to support? If you are asking me to devise a grand plan for reshaping the Middle East, it is a bit much for me or anyone to get into offhand, but in the case of Iraq, a Pandora's box probably should not have been openned, and certainly not in the way that it was. It is sort of like if a clock is a bit slow, you sure don't take it apart to try to fix it if you don't know how. You end up with a whole bunch of pieces that you can't fit back together again.
