As I have pointed out before Clinton's plan was a non-viable(balkanized) state. He should never have gone along with Israel's offer.


That is a lie, often refuted by Clinton & Ross & Barak & Ben-Ami. The final offer was 100% of Gaza, 95% of West bank, with land swaps from Israel proper to make 100% equivalent land. Not balkanized. Contiguous.

Even the Pals didn't start claiming this lie until 2001 when they saw how much damage they had done to themselves. In 2000, the deal breaker wasn't borders but "right of return".
