I would not nibble at Dell. The company is in trouble and has many internal problems. These problems will not be fixed for some period of time. It's not easy to turn a company around.

As Kemble would say...Some day Dell will own it all! Well, I guess he was correct. They owned the good times and now they own the bad times.

Having spent my career in the computer industry, I've seem many companies shoot to the stars only to lose control and crash.

Specially, Dell lost control of customer service, tech support, understandable pricing, and being able to turn on a dime. Once you "piss" off the customer, its very, very hard to regain customer respect and loyalty. I for one gave up on Dell some time ago. My next pc or notebook will more than likely be an HP, or I'll build it myself.

In conclusion, I would not buy Dell until they fix the company, and this will take a very long time to play out.
