Interesting thought. Do you think Iran would use that as an excuse to attack Israel? Of course, it's no secret they have plenty of their own in Hezbollah already.

Reminds me of the Korean "police action" when the Soviets were directly involved with NK.

Peace came to Egypt and Israel; I think it will take an Arab country like Egypt or Jordan to join Israel in the fight against terrorists hellbent on killing.

Egypt, Jordan, Israel wipes Syria and Hezbollah off the face of the earth. Anwar Sadat was assassinated for making peace with Israel.

USA to attack Syria

Sounds like a good way to expand a war where it could be out of our control.

Say the Syrian government did collapse. Then what?

Who would control the government of Syria? Could we control that?

War is often necessary, but you never really know what the ultimate effect is.

We still are playing out the effects of WWII (e.g Israel's creation, Korean peninsula split)
