the Catholic concept of just war disagrees with him as well.

What are you talking about? He defined the Just War concept.

My full statement was "If he really says that than I disagree with him, and the Catholic concept of just war disagrees with him as well."

Just war is not "don't resist attackers". Just war is all about fighting back in just and responsible ways. They wouldn't call it "Just War" if the doctrine was "Lie there and take it", or "Write a sternly written protest letter when someone attacks you".

Edit - Lane3 found what he really said. He did argue against personal self defence (or at least against deadly personal self defense) but not against defensive war.

The current church opinion of self defense in general borrows from St. Augistine (particuarly the Just War part) but isn't an exact down the line copy.

As quoted by Lane3
"Different from the Methodist and Presbyterian views is the
Roman Catholic view which is stated in terms of "just war" and is
also applicable to personal self-defense: Victims "have a right and
even a duty to protect their existence and freedom" (Pope John Paul
II) for, though even defensive violence will ever be "a sad
necessity in the eyes of men principled, yet it would be still more
unfortunate if wrongdoers should dominate just men." (St. Augustine)
Thus the Catholic view allows (or perhaps even requires) lethal force (necessary) to preserve the victim's life against murder."
