Iraq is what caused this trouble in Israel-Lebanon. Iran getting stronger because of Bush's blunders in Iraq and trying to flex its muscles in Lebanon. Syria too. As George Will stated, Bushies must accept responsibility for making matters much worse in the Middle East. despite all their optimistic promises and projections. Bushies have been pushing for war with Iran and Syria. Be careful what you wish for. We don't have nearly the manpower in our military to get that job done. We'd need at least 600,000 troops for that, and world cooperation. It's next to impossible. Peace is a much better option. CLinton got us very close. Maybe once Bush is gone we can return to the peace talk table. That's where everyone needs to be. But Iraq is like an open wound for the USA. We are bleeding troops, money, equipment and credibility. Every day we stay there we grow weaker.
