Iran is after the oil, which makes them as immediate a threat to us as to their local targets.

I just thought, would be nice to have General H. Norman Schwarzkopf going to Jordan and Saudi Arabia and Egypt to discuss the Iran/Syria/Hezbollah problem instead of Rice.

I think he could easily make a difference in saving Lebanon.

My understanding is that Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait and Jordan were all critical of Hezbollah's latest actions against Israel. I believe they stated that Hezbollah's attack and kidnappings were contrary to Arab interests. I'm not sure if a group of Arab nations have ever been critical of an Arab militant group attacking Israel before. I guess the EU, UN and CNN just couldn't help themselves - their critism must have just done out of reflex.

So yes, S A, Kuwait, Egypt and Jordan are very worried about Iran.
