I don't see Bush and Israel changing either. The party in the position of strength has the responsibility to seek peace. In this case the responsibility for peace is clearly with the US and Israel.

There clearly has been an over reaction on the part of Israel and the US is clearly looking the other way. There has been a price in innocent human life that had to be paid for that behavior.

Clearly the path to peace will be difficult, but the only way down the path is for Bush to lead there. Peace will have such clear benefits for all parties. The vast majority of people want peace. In order to get peace you'll need the cooperation of the vast majority. Bombing them usually does not work. Look how poorly that worked in Iraq.

You're leaving out that Hamas has taken over under Bush. Another huge foreign policy blunder and directly related to the blunder in Iraq.

Once again, we were much better off in all these countries under Clinton who used diplomacy and the carrot-stick approach, instead of just threats and arrogance. Threats and arrogance do not usually work. Bullies may be feared, but they're not respected and they make enemies out of everyone.
