The ramp will be slow in the begining, but if the idea is a good one, the ramp will grow exponentially. Mary, it's hard to ramp up a movement when its proponents are getting killed left and right because they won't fight back. BTW, did you read the Aquinas quote I posted and the Catholic definition of just war?

Like any great idea, there will be early adopters and there will be a great deal of resistence. The ramp will be slow in the begining, but if the idea is a good one, the ramp will grow exponentially. The problem is that the worst of people will be the last to accept the idea, leaving them in charge or at least able to act violently with near impunity after everyone else has totally abandoned violence. I'd say there are more problems with the idea, but if you accept that the near total acceptance of the idea is actually reasonably possible this problem would still remain.
