I'll agree with you there. Maybe even just not anti-war, just following the polls...

Again, you misrepresent democrats. In the 90's, Clinton was a moderate-progressive in an era when Saddam was quite a menace. Clinton responded with sanctions and bombing the hell out of every suspected WMD site. As a result, Saddam was kept in a box and defanged, though the Iraqi people suffered.

Bush-Cheney came in with the plan and lust to invade and occupy Iraq no matter what, take their oilfields, then maybe keep invading other countries in the region.

No major democrat except maybe Lieberman supports that Bushie neocon idea, because Lieberman is the only one who puts Israel in front of the USA. Because he's practically a rabbi.

And notice that in the 90's we had relative peace on earth, excellent relations with other countries, North Korea and Iran were relatively unthreatening, and we had excellent prosperity with opportunities for everyone and surpluses to take care of many of our social problems and debt reduction. Bush-Cheney have completely trashed all that, and ironically they were much worse than Clinton on counter-terrorism as well. For whatever reason, they let 9-11 happen, either by lack of vigilance or worse.
