I think I stand corrected. I was in my car when the t/c occurred (amidst a number of others) and didn't write down precisely what he had related.

Now that I think about it further, I believe that u r correct, i.e., that what he had said is that the short interest had ballooned to 11.9mm (not 11.9%)
