Thanks for the article. Yes, it is really a pity that so few on this thread seem to have very much humanity on this issue. Even Al seems to be on the fence. We are being pulled into a tribal society by perverse media influences. Neo-cons beat the drums and the masses chant about the evils and threats of the enemy tribe, the Muslims. And we are so morally superior to them that we should kill them all. Sounds like Rwanda. Forget the rule of law, rights of innocent civilians, all that matters is the allied tribe the Israelis. If one of them is threatened or opposed in the slightest way we will put the heads of their enemies on a stake. Sadly, also, so many arguments on this board are strawman arguments. en.wikipedia.org If you oppose excessive force by the Israeli army or injustices of the Israeli state, you are a friend of terrorist, or a Muslim-lover, or do not think Israel has a right to defend itself against legitimate threats of hostility. Such arguments are the arguments of people who have no logical defense for their positions, who have no logical consistency. Some say they are Christians, but to heck with compassion, turn the other cheek, equality of people, whatever else Jesus said. Let the Arabs die. Drink their blood. It is insanity.
