The Media is controlled by wealthy republicans.
They report what the boss tells them to report.

Democratic smearing was extensive as the MSM was and is pro-Democratic (as measured by the high percentages of reporters and news executives who vote Democratic). Just consider the fake story attempting to smear Bush re. his national guard service that Dan Rather aired just before the election.

That wasn't a fake story. You are so brainwashed they've convinced you that it was fake. Bush vacated his national guard service without permission. Go look at the record. Rather's only mistake was believing in a source that people now think was a set up.

BTW while you're checking things out, check out how Reagan, Bush I, ole Rummie and Cheney gave or facilitated the giving of WMDs to Saddam Hussein in the 1980s. Hint: look in the congressional records of 1992.

We can be thankful the hack who faked the document was too much of an idiot to find an old typewriter to use.

Let me point out one other reason not to believe rightwing claims of smearing. The GOP is one of the most corrupted parties in the history of the US. How many of your 'christian soldiers' are in jail or pending trial? You should be ashamed claiming the dems smeared you guys. In fact, they should have taken you guys out to the woodshed and given you all a good licking.

"We can be thankful the hack who faked the document was too much of an idiot to find an old typewriter to use."

You know it wasn't typed, how? There are plenty of internal reasons to doubt those documents, up to an including the person who would have typed them said that the terminology used was inconsistent with what was used at the time in the TANG. Oddly, though, she did say that the information was substantially correct....

Many of the assertions made about what typewriters of that period couldn't do have been proven wrong. Like the assertion about proportional space. In fact, there are other documents in Bush's file that are proportional space and have been validated as authentic.

Dan Rather's story about Bush was 100% true. AWOLBUSH.com for the real details and raw evidence.

Only one document Rather was using as evidence was not the real deal. it is very likely Rove fed him that document as a dirty trick then framed him for it, as Rove has done before in past campaigns. Rove knows damn well Bush was an AWOL draft-dodger who lied and about it and had his Guard records cleanzed, but he doesn't want it on 60 Minutes.

Botomline, the Rather story was true. Why, what part of it don't you believe? Where are Bush's records for the 8 month period in 1972 when he disappeared and didn't show up for duty? They're 100% gone except for one dental appointment record.
