What's a "bermuda high"?

You get that after drinking a particular type of fermented onion juice...

EK!!! (tongue-planted-very-firmly-in-cheek)

A Bermuda High is a large high pressure system that sits over the bermuda area during the summer months. The Cape Verde storms can get steered by this high which is why many Atlantic hurricanes heading for the USA make that N then NE turn off the NC cape's. Last year we had an expanded bermuda high into the eastern USA which sent these storms curving into the Gulf of Mexico.
