You mean immediately? I don't think anyone can. In fact, with all Israel is doing, it probably will not destroy it. Like resistence in Iraq to the US, it will sneak away and reform more determined somewhere else.

In the long run Hezbollah could be stopped in other ways. If Iran is truly their main benefactor, the US could start cooperating with Iran to resolve long-standing difference with Hezbollah as part of the deal. Note that Iran has a lot of grievances against the US. The Shah, a brutal dictator little better than Saddam Hussein, stole a whole lot of the country's wealth, took it to the US, and the US refuses to give any of it back. Iran doesn't like that the US consistently also protects Israel from international censure when it refuses to comply with international law -- if Israel deserves support from the US or Canada, it should first show its moral superiority by complying with international law anyway. I'm sure that responding to these issues would be more than enough to convince Iran to stop helping Hezbollah. Hezbollah would probably still exist, but in a less threatening form. And note that if US tried to be nice to Iran rather than just threatening it, the hard-liners in government would be defeated in elections by reformists. No need to spend billions to try to change Iran's government by military options. But who would have thought of that? A lot of companies benefit from unbelievable amount of money spent on military weapons by the US, and these companies pay for think tanks whose purpose is to make people paranoid and extreme enough to buy and use these weapons.
