I remember that. Jeez when K-Mart started selling Izod and Arnold Palmer the glamor went out of buying those products.

When the anti-trust laws came in we got a Levi account, thought we'd get a lot of young guys buying flares and bell bottoms. Bought some straight legs to keep the salesman happy. SOB, we had the out of style straight legs and did a nice business with construction guys. They didn't want style, they wanted function.

I remember when Arrow was 85% American and 15% overseas. Had a strike and to keep the union happy they switched to 15% American and 85% overseas. Lots of Americans lost their jobs but the ones who didn't got a nice raise.
