Yes, I do. It's an existential thing. If a person calls himself a Christian then as far as I'm concerned he is one. I don't judge the "quality" of his religious belief, as you do, for the simple reason that I am not a religious adherent. Therefore, it is of no particular interest to me what people believe or say they do because, as far as I'm concerned, all religion is mumbo-jumbo.

But he calls himself a Christian and he likes to be known as one so I accept that he is. Furthermore, it seems most people regard him as as a Christian and not a Judaizer or whatever.
