Instead, the Arabs see withdrawal as a sign of weakness. How many times have we heard that thing about Arabs and weakness......such BS.

You're dead wrong on that assumption ted.

Its not an assumption. The reason it took Hezbollah 6 years to attack after Israel left is because Israel decimated them when they occupied Lebanon last. Israel may again decimate Hezbollah and Hezbollah will rebuild once again. Why?

Now listen really carefully, steve because this is not what your going to hear from your leaders. The Arabs hate the Israelis in the same way the NA Indians hated the early white settlers. Why? Because the Europeans took their land just as the Israelis took the Arabs land. They knew the Europeans had more powerful weaponry; that didn't stop them from attacking. When you hate your enemy as much the Indians hated the Europeans and Hezbollah hates the Israelis because the enemy has taken your land, you fight to the death. Israel destroying Lebanon won't scare the Shia into submission, it only makes their anger grow larger. Like I've said previously, your leaders are like your president not very sophisticated when it comes to foreign affairs. So much so, that people on this thread have predicted more accurately how the war in Iraq would go the GOP players who are directly involved. While your leaders were predicting "6 days, 6 weeks but no longer than 6 months", we knew better.
