I never saw Pearl Jam, but saw one of Janis Joplin's last concerts at Festival Express in Calgary CA. I was at the Grateful Dead benefit (after they got busted in NO) at Winterland in SF (Jefferson Airplane, It's a Beautiful Day, Santana, etc) for a ticket price of $3.50. 3rd row center seats for Springsteen's Born to Run concert (the best concert I've been to). Never saw Dylan or the Beatles, but saw the Dead at least a dozen times, many times in small clubs in Marin County in the late 60's. Saw The Band, The Who, Cream, and a whole bunch of "secondary" folks that just would kick ass today. I could go on...

Music ain't what it used to be.

The Masters Of War are alive and well. Eisenhower warned us about people lioke Cheney and Rumsfield. Wars for profit forced upon us by super powerful but shadowy defense industry lobbyists. Cheney and Rumsfield were both in the wars for profit business when they were in the private sector.
