Great news about China's dedication to energy usage. a. Let's make portable coal fired plants and see if we can market them to the Chinese. b. Lets' make a cheap alternative to conventional coal plants, that over time, despite slightly higher capex saves a lot of money in fuel. c. Barring the above two, let's learn to breathe smokey air and enjoy it a lot. let's start now by singing along with, "Smoke Gets in My Eyes" d. Let's invest in technology development that abates ash and other waste products of coal burning as well as increases efficiency markedly. i.e. converting using hybrid generation concepts or multiple stage type systems that add stirling engines, direct electric conversion and/or waste heat co-generation. The more efficient the generator and the engine/motor, the less pollution.
