Many of the tall peaks around the lake have are still snow topped!! It was a lovely sight as always. Lake Tahoe is such a nice spot but the water is cccccccold!! I like to get in and tread water for about 30 minutes and bob in the waves. It's so invigorating. During my younger years I always was the first one to swim in the local lake after the ice went out........Three days or so after the final melt. It was never in the water long but I did dip into it. IT's average depth is something like 1000ft...........deep and cold.
