That's what happens when you get some goofballs with blogs thinking they can influence elections from their computer keyboards.

The blogs are making politics more democratic... the netroots will win some more than they'll lose some, but all in all, the movement is making sure that our representatives can't get away with "politics as usual."


In addition, the net in general is making it very hard for politicians to lie because info can be sourced and posted very quickly. One of the reasons the bush administration has been upended from time to time and made to look stupid is because of the info that is being disseminated on the web in record speed.

The BLOGS aren't making things more democratic any more than Limbaugh and talk radio ever did.

Both of them just give people with polarized views a place to find affirmation.

If you're right of center and listen to Limbaugh he pulls you FARTHER to the right. If you're left of center and read KOS he just pulls you FARTHER to the left.

They aren't out to inform people, they're out to offer a service to people that THINK they are objective and want to know that they are part of a like-minded group.
