I'm not sure that we can uphold OUR half of the deal and attack Syria right now. Things seem to be going to hell in a handbasket in Iraq, not that anyone would NOTICE right now. If we attacked Syria, our supply lines through Iraq would likely be under constant attack. We don't really have the troops or the situation in hand well enough to attack Syria.

Not to imply that Cheney and the warmongers may not do it anyway.

Tigerpaw...if you've read any of my posts then you probably know that I've been saying ALL along that Israel is looking for a wider war here and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were working in conjunction with the Bush Whitehouse in that regard.

I think the REAL target of all this is Iran.
