Gosh, what a mess, and in our own country. The LGF photos were telling. I fear the day when the rabid right and the rabid left get together with Islamists to promote the one agenda item on which they agree--antisemitism. Imagine Pat Buchanan and Juan Cole/Steve Clemons allied with some yet to be identified American Islamist firebrand [Farrakhan or someone of his ilk] preaching antisemitic hate. What a nightmare. The rabid unhinged left, being grounded on hypocrisy and intellectual pretension, disguises its antisemitism a bit better than the rabid right, but it's all the same thing at the end of the day. I have this feeling that we're about to relive history, that our dark side is coming into display again, and that we have completely lost any moral grounding, e.g., Hizbollah seems to use human shields and mosques in order to avoid being struck, and yet there is no wholesale condemnation of this macabre tactic. There is, however, a lot of criticism against Israel for its "disproportionate" use of force.
