I will give you the courtesy of not beginning this with, Get real, Bird. I quoted the article, suggested that the U.S. was (in the end) calling the shots (don't the money people in a deal generally?) and suggested there MAY be a time out. But I didn't write the article itself. You make some interesting observations about "a new strategy". They seem like plausible possibilities. Are you basing them on anything other than your own observation of what has happened in Lebanon & Iraq? In other words, are they any more "real" than my speculations? I have NO sources whatsoever other than the ones I quote. Do you? Namaste! Jim
