Iraq is a far greater problem than Lebanon. And since the violence in Lebanon became THE STORY Iraq has been imploding to an extent that the Iraqi government has given up trying to mend sectarian fences. In other words, Bush's "plan" (whatever that was) is a total failure and has made Iraq and the entire region far more dangerous and problematic. At a huge-huge cost to the American military and taxpayers. Time to impeach. All Repubs need to wake up and realize Bush is a failure, a crook and no conservative. He is a political criminal slack who is very incompetent when it comes to doing anything worthwhile in the world. He has failed. Time for him to go. And Cheney deserves 20 years in Club Fed. Also, from a selfish perspective, the GOP would be far better off with a Gerald Ford type taking over. The sooner they put the poisonous embarrassment which is Bush-Cheney behind them (same as th are doing with Delay) the better for the party.
