<<I may be able to offer insight into the latest Brinker claim. But, could someone please tell me the exact verbiage he used?>>

--Thanks for asking. Here is the EXACT verbiage: "Marketimer currently is ranked number one for long-term stock market timing by the two major rating services, Hulbert Financial Digest and Timer Digest."

<<Dija...Bob Brinker was NOT rated number one in any category for any length of time. Why do you keep ignoring that fact? Or are you accusing Kirk and me of lying about something that is easily verifiable?>>

--No. I am NOT accusing anyone of lying. I am only wondering if you are overlooking something, and I suspect you don't REALLY want to find out that you are wrong.

I have asked this question several times, and, not surprisingly, I have yet to receive an answer. I am sure that I never will:

If Bob Brinker was not ranked number #1 for long-term stock market timing for 5, 10 and 15 years, WHO IN THE WORLD WAS??????

Note to stockalot: I used the March HFD as an example. I do not know if Hulbert ranked brinker #1 for long-term stock market timing. I assume he did do it in some recent issue, but I don't KNOW it.

I was just saying to kirk that if Hulbert did do it (for example) in the March issue, that would still qualify as "current," since no rankings have been published for that category since then.

Kirk was taking issue with the word "current," and that is what I was responding to.

Sorry for the confusion.

"Bob Brinker was NOT rated number one in any category for any length of time."

So far, no one has claimed that they have gone through Hulbert's back issues for the past year or so to see if there was something that Brinker's claims might have been based on. It's awfully hard to prove a negative, so anyone claiming to do so needs to research it throughly enough so that someone will not later find something that was overlooked.
