re: Lundin / VPC.V - Valkyries

well I sold the shares I was able to sell to obtain longterm capital gains... around 3/4 of my position.. However 1/4 is still there until this winter (our holding period is one year). Since all exchanges are "foreign" to me, I don'T care selling Lunding shares on the Stockholm exchange..

Lundin should have a pinksheet equivalent and I doubt it's that illiquid. you just shouldn't sell them with a market order but put in a tight limit when selling..

I manage a lot of Lundin Petroleum in different portfolio's and those shares will probably be one major part of those portfolio's at least this and next year. After the VPC deal Lundin Petroleum are bound to grow and not only because VPC is a good deal with it's huge growth potential. Lundin with Lagansky give huge upside also to Lundin and their reserves may double. Another reason for this deal I suspect is some four five other big opportunities VPC couldn't manage to take on..on it's own.

Lundin shares are undervalued at 87 SEK. They traded at 100-114 recently. Some major Swedish banks have BUY /1 rating on them (SEB and SHB).

One Swedish bank (SHB) has a target of 130 SEK within four five months. This is without VPC.

In September the company add a new quite interesting producing offshore field in Tunisia. Another field Alvheim in Norway adds to this in early 2007. Some 50% more oil will flow within the next six seven months.

I think we'll see a rising share price in line with rising oil output drilling success and other deals to come. Buying or keeping VPC will be worth it despite the problem you might get having to sell by phone order or over the Pink sheet listing.
