You paint anyone who would ever invest in gold or mining stocks as survivalists, waiting for Mad Max. I could as easily paint you sitting with tin-foil hat waiting for Richard Dean Anderson to take you by the hand and lead you through the Stargate. Both are strawmen and add little to the discussion.
