The lawyer is clueless, and the lawsuit is baseless

You can read the complaint on Findlaw, the asserted causes of action start at p.17.

I'm surprised their lawyer filed it without laughing.

Erwin Chemerinsky, the lawyer, is a preeminent constitutional scholar. Extremely bright, and very, very left wing.

But there is a huge difference between the legal skills required in being a first-rate scholar and those required of a trial attorney.

I was surprised to see the Plames select EC as their attorney. I think it was a publicity stunt. They're going to have to hire someone with courtroom skills, someone who understands how facts and arguments are developed for presentation to a jury.

If they had to answer questions under oath they would be exposed.

First step the defense should take is to note up depositions of Joe and Val.

Put it on the shortest fuse possible.
