To my earlier lists, I like the MNTA call (own too much already) and might add MYGN (valuation too high only relative to recent price levels a year ago) and NKTR (which I also own). I too wonder about ACAD but do not know what drove its utter collapse recently!

I'm against the new "recommendation" function here at S.I.

I note that one of the thread's only recommendations is already registered for your post. That hurts.

I coined the term "electronic counterfeiting" to describe trading in Viropharma that defied logic. Reg sho subsequently went thru, and vphm was a regular on the fail to deliver list until Michel de Rosen did his thing. At that time, the shares soared as approximately 2X shares outstanding, naked ones, were covered.

At the time that I was watching vphm, I asked -- in the T/FIF thread that you mentioned -- for a logical explanation. Peter promptly gave one, and the general outline of his answer was point blank on. He was not at all willing to concede to my observations, to believe what I was saying about naked shares. But he nonetheless chipped in to help.

I've learned to expose my ignorance to get answers. It works.

I have watched biotech issues trade since day one. You, Wilder, others can scoff all you like......... I know when I see a foe's trading pattern, and I know who several of the thought leaders are who initiate the attacks. I need help to determine a mechanism whereby their profit is little other than guaranteed, not teasing.

I haven't been ranting re. the shorting since the naked element slowed to a trickle, my goggles. I feel that the July puts were owned by those that were naked until 6/30. You don't want my perspective, please put me on ignore. Thanks.

Best, Jon.
