By this logic, the Jews deserved to die in the Holocaust because the Germans decided to kill them...after all, there were a lot more Germans than Jews, and the Jews didn't even come from Europe originally.

That doesn't follow from what I've written at all, we were discussing Israel, not Jews. Jews are individuals, Israel is a country. They are not the same thing. Czechoslovakia no longer exists because the people of Czechoslovakia voted for it to not exist. There was no genocide in the process. There are gazillions of Jews living happy successful lives all over the world that are getting along fine in the societies where they live, and have very little to do with Israel.

If you believe that Israel will never be able to make its neighbors accept it, then why do you support Israel's existence? There are many forms of governance under which people can live, and a form of governance that creates acceptance for everyone is the superior choice.
