Depends on the Muslims.

I am aware (as you are, no doubt, as well) that for Bush's critics, the only Muslim who matters is Bin Laden, who somehow, mysteriously, is Bush's fault (despite the fact that it was Jimmy Carter who armed the Afghanis against the Soviets).

Leaving all that aside, regardless of where you lay the root cause, there's a strong cadre of Arabs who want to live in the Western world, who want democracy, civil rights, free trade, and all the other goodies that Bin Laden doesn't want them to have.

As someone who believes in democracy, civil rights, free trade, and all the other goodies, more power to them, I say.
