Thank you for the kind words Pat, But we are no more special than anyone else that just wants peace, justice and tranquility in our lives and for all other lives on this Earth... I know YOU DO and understand, so YOU are more special, imo.. For you are more vocal about it... We were sitting in front enjoying the mountains as it cooled down this evening, and I thought of ALL the complaining here in the US about the heat.. Lack of AC, for example... Well shit.. I have no sympathy for that kind of whining.. What about Baghdad? Where they have suffered for three plus years with an average of six hours a day with electricity.. Barely enough to make an ICE CUBE.. Barely enough to keep food from spoiling.. And they can't even keep their windows and doors open to let a breeze in, for the fear of various death squads busting in.. Grandmothers with their granddaughters suffering in the FEAR and HEAT.. Does that compare with all the whiners here, that can't get a cold drink, in a cool 72 degrees, a cold freakin frapiccino for example. Or want to go to a hotel for a cool night's sleep.. Geez, give me a freaking break... Everything is SO upside down in the thinking in the mainstream of our .."society" ... And now, what about Beirut? A city destroyed in the middle of a hot freakin summer.. a country destroyed, lives destroyed, families destroyed, futures destroyed, etc.Air conditioning destroyed..(sarcasim to the nth implied). Do people HERE EVEN UNDERSTAND a little freakin bit about comparative situations.. I know you do, but SO MANY here don't.. Thank you for being my sounding board.. :) Take care always, m
