... Insert favorite ad hominem fallacy here ...

Now that we got your technique out of the way.

Israel has stated why it is destroying Lebanese infrastructure; it is to prevent the kidnapped soldiers from being smuggled to Iran and Syria

Destroy a country over a kidnapping? If this is the reason then it is an admission of war crimes.

Israel HAS said it will not incur far into Lebabon and will withdraw once Hezbollah is no longer a threat to it.

Israel says it doesn't want to invade and occupy, instead it wants to invade and have some mercenary force occupy. In the movie "Red Dawn" the Wolverines were not any happier because it was Cubans instead of Soviets in their town.

If one of the militias in Idaho had raided Canada, killed its citizens, and kidnapped others, do you think the Canadian gov't would SCREAM?
Those things do happen!
NRA activists and Aryan Nation slip across the Canadian border from time to time. They kill people, they steal, they rob banks. It doesn't cause war between Canada and the U.S. Instead they send the mounties and fbi after them.

Where is JLA? He must have been reading the news and decided to disappear.

Apparently you're stupider than I thought.

The understatement of the century.

Lebanon is connected to the Iraq debacle. Bush's Axis Of Evil speech approach to anti-diplomacy in the Middle East poked a sharp stick into the cages of many semi-dormant dangers to Israel, including Hezbollah. Certainly Bush's policies had the affect of driving Iran and Palestine into mjore radical hands. Remember, both were marching in SUPPORT of the US after 9-11, but just the opposite now.

Bush's refusal to even speak to Iran and Syria (not to mention North Korea), both of whom support Hezbollah, then his driving the good ship USA into a quagmire in Iraq, was certainly at least part of the reason Hezbollah got bold and decided to attack those soldiers, because the real cause if Iran and Syria, both of whom are a combination of paranoid, pissed off and emboldened due to what Bush did in Iraq and in abandoning all diplomatic relations.

George Will agrees with this, by the way. And I'll bet William F. Buckley and Pat Buchanon do too. They are real conservatives. Bushies are not real conservatives, they're radical corporate imperialists.
