The U.N. humanitarian chief accused Hezbollah on Monday of "cowardly blending" among Lebanese civilians and causing the deaths of hundreds during two weeks of cross-border violence with Israel

Well, that's a promising start in a new direction. When I start hearing talk about war crimes charges against Hezbollah or Hamas I'll be speechless.

Really glad to see that...Hezbollah has been making civilians stay in the towns. I asked yesterday on another board, when someone showed (aka the NYT Sunday front page in color) photos of all the coffins who were supposedly Lebanese. I wondered: What exact proof is there that there really are bodies in the coffins? Who killed them? The Israeli's said for every civilian to get out of town. Did the Lebanese or the Hezbollah make the families stay? Were they deaf? Didn't they want to leave?

And what I didn't ask and should have is: Why did the bodies come out of refrigerated morgue's...and HOW LONG had the bodies been there? Has anyone trustworthy actually seen a paper that shows the causes of death? ETC.

We can be pretty sure the NYT didn't do any of this checking...or we would have heard the results.
