So is the US military inept? Is the US government inept? There was lots of discussion in the corporate media about the possibility of urban guerrilla warfare before the invasion. Is the US military's only response more bullets? If assymetric warfare is about PR and the 'hearts and minds' then why wasn't 90% of the activity about hearts and minds instead of shock and awe? If my numbers are correct, for what we've spent on the war we could have paid every man, woman and child in Iraq enough to live on for 10-15 years.
