Nadine..the Arab countries might be more amenable to the idea NOW and it would be an opportunity for the western nations to show that they ARE at least trying to recognize the inequities of the situation for the Palestinians. Nobody is more alive to the inequities than the leaders of the Palestinians, or more intent on INCREASING them. Efforts at integration founder on the willingness of Hamas & et al to blow up any efforts at integration or trade. Literally.
