. . . but it is sure to be entertaining. More than that. I learn from trying to rephrase my responses to posters here. In addition, to information I would never have run across. I started to list it but realized I would leave someone's off that meant a lot to me; so I'll just point in the general direction rather than stab a finger toward specific posters.

It may not be the center I had in mind, but it is sure to be entertaining. I think, though, that it IS the center. Seems to me that there will always be policy and ideological disagreements, especially with those issues that have only binary solutions, but the center represents folks who are willing to listen to the "other side" and give its arguments the benefit of honest consideration. I would also expect the center to occasionally concede that the "other side" has a better solution for X issue than that of "our side." And to vote for "their guys" every so often. I think we have that here, amongst most of the regulars.
