Frank,

I'm not an engineer, but my current model Ford Ranger gets 24.5 mpg no air and 22.6 mpg with air.

Grass roots info from the street to you.

Dave.

Frank,
New 2006 Honda Civic (gasoline engine) gets 42 mpg on highway with cruise control on and air conditioning off, and that reduces to 38 mpg with air on, do this drive 130 miles per day 7 days a week, and yes I am getting tired of it, but far better in the Civic than in my 2003 Toyota Tundra where numbers drop to 19/17
cheers

Like everybody else I get a roughly 2mpg+ reduction in my Silverado.

I choose not to ask my wife her results in her TrailBlazer with the Corvette engine, with or without the A/C.
