FACT: Many, many FEEL their retirements were ruined following Brinker in that they lost more money than anyone in retirement should... But by what stretch of the imagination can your "many, many" be called a FACT? It's vague, undocumented, and IMO biased and highly questionable OPINION. (1) There may be some who feel that way; if so that's their feeling and they're entitled to it. But one might hope by now they've gotten past it. Now you're speaking in terms of affect (emotions) and who can tell someone not to feel what they feel? When I say no one was "ruined" I'm speaking in terms of effect, practical pragmatic terms. No one was ruined financially. What they do with their disappointment for six years is up to them. But if they continue to wallow in disappointment for six years then THEY are allowing it to ruin their lives and they need to get some help. (2) ...and they gave up on him before his good call in 2003 that would have helped them make SOME of it back. Your speculation in this regard may be somewhat accurate, again we don't know. It would be understandable, if true, which we don't know. Another mistake on their part, but it happens. They're entitled. As for the remainder of your self-touting post, I'm where I want to be and not thinking of changing, so I'm not interested in your figures, but thanks anyway. I am curious but not holding my breath as to why you use this board to self-promote.
