I've read that Hezbollah has launched over 1100 rockets, and managed to kill 35 Israelis. Israel has racked up 350 Lebanese, maintaining the 10/1 ratio nicely.

The current death toll is changing that ratio: 422 Lebanese; 50 Israelis.

It would be the height of irony if Israel, the region's superpower, gets bogged down in Lebanon like the US has in Iraq:

When Israel has fired 11,000 rockets on Hezbollah the 10:1 relationship will indeed have been maintained nicely.
