Let's start with a few facts. We invaded a sovereign state, and occupied its capital in 1982. These writers who want to recount the history of the conflict never seem to go back to the beginning. The beginning is not "we invaded a sovereign state...in 1982"; rather, it's "we declared that a region which has been lived in by a wide variety of people throughout known history to be a Jewish homeland in 1947, the non-Jews objected". THAT's the start of the troubles.
